Hi girls!

This has been on my mind for quite a while some time.
Its just is it just Danile or all babies are like that?

First it started with breastfeeding. I tried my best to breastfeed him...But...most of the time he even saw my boob he would start screaming his head off. Almost every single time I had to fight him to feed him. 10 minutes screaming, 5 minutes feeding and so on. I managed to 3 and a half months, but what a hell it was  So when I am reading post like " he is on my boobs constantly" im just feeling so jealous and thinking "lucky you. its much better then refusing alltogether"

Obviosly he had his lot of colics and constipation, but its more or less normal.

He still wakes up for one feed in the night and several times for a dummy.

If you go out with him, if he is awake, as soon as you stop the buggy for more then 1 minute -he screams.

Now, with weaning it is this http://www.pregnancyforum.co.uk/forum/v ... hp?t=69157 :wall: :wall:

And he needs to be played with all the time. If I leave the room for more then 5 mins-screams. (What is a progress from 10 secs as before)

So, my main question is - are all babies like that, or i just got myself with a little monster  :rotfl: I love him to bits, but just sometimes I feel like "what on earth I got myself into"

Every single day seems like struggle. And I am dealing with it, just sometimes it all gets to me.

Stephen was a nghtmare Carina, couldnt od anything with him, he constantly screamed, wouldnt breastfeed, screamd with colic and whinged with everything. He was a nightmare till he hit 6 months then he calmed down completely.

youve described exactly how i have been since mia arrived...

But since last week i have felt much better..mia seems to have calmed down, she too had colic and its awful...especially when these feelings go on for months...i kept thinking 'is this what being a mums all about :( '

It does let up...i know thats not helping right now..but theres nothing i can say that will...it just clicks one day..

if you need to talk ever just give me a shout

You arent alone. Joe is a lot better now but where he has improved in most things his eating(which was good0 has gone down the tubes. He wont eat anything made. He eats at least 3 bananas a day and weetabix but as for anything else, not a hope in hell. He isnt starving, just wants these particular things.

I will mention it and keep an eye on his weight but Im not letting it worry me, jess was the same and now she is a semi okay eater.

Keep you chin up, it will get better.

Seren was a high maintenance madam, but Cally is one chilled out little girl. Though Seren did chill out as she got older and is a fab sleeper so it will get better.

I also have that baby! :rotfl: His personality is very temperamental - I always seem to be the one with the screaming baby at people's houses.

Alex does breastfeed but that seems to be about all he does. He cries a hell of a lot more than Lydia ever did. He's ridiculously clingy, but only with me. If I leave him for more than 3 minutes he screams the place down. He has to be CONSTANTLY in my arms.

And feeding, the only thing he seems to want is breast. He should be eating properly now, but I have to literally FORCE him to eat half a jar of 4-6 month food once a day. Even then he screams and screams and screams when I'm giving him it.

Lydia was never like this.

     To all of you, girls!

I really do hope it will get better! There are some days when I can just laught about it and be proud of my clever baby but some days! :wall:

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You think that the crying will stop when the colic period ends but Finn carried on crying! I think he gets very overstimulated.
