Morning all - hope your all good your LOs are doing well.

Quick question - how long does you LO sleep for through the night? I had a quick look to see if there was a siilar threadbut couldnt see one.

Please could everyone list in the same format so I can cmpare n contrast, lol

Sex Male Age 4months Bed at 8.30 Sleeps till 5 then again till 8.30
Also - how much milk. If BF just put 'BF'

Thats Austins routine above but alot of my friends who have girls have got younger babies than me who sleep through for thr solid 12 hours?!?!

I know every baby is different but Im just interested to see which is the majority - 12 hoiur sleepers or not...n is the the boys or the girlies.

Love n miss u all

Mummy n A xxxx

50% of baby's do not sleep through no matter sex or how fed so please remember this as some people feel stressed that their baby doesn't sleep through.

Tyler is 5 months goes to bed at 6.30 and sleep max 3 hours usually between 1 and 2 he's bf.

Sex: Male. Age: 1 (in 5days) Bed: 8pm Wakes: 6.30ish. Milk: 4-5oz before bed.

At 4 months he was still waking for milk at least twice every night at all different times. He'd only take 2-3oz because he's never been a big milk drinker. He still only manages 4-5oz most days now at almost a year old. He didn't sleep through until he was 9.5 months old! x

Sex Male Age 4months Bed at 11-12 Sleeps till 1.30, then til 4 or 5 then up at 8.30/9ish BF

My older boy was FF and up every hour, would go to bed late and up at the crack of dawn, there was no bedtime he'd just nap on and off all day it was impossible

Here is stats for my boy...

Sex Male Age very nearly 5 months Bed at 8.00 Sleeps till 6 then again till 7.30
He is on formula 7oz x 5 times a day

He is a very content and happy little boy. Can't believe how lucky I am and do not take it for granted in the slightest! I feel for mums whos babies don't sleep.xx

I've paid big attention to feeding and sleeping lately.

Tilly is 11 weeks old on sunday and last night she slept

6.45 - 10.15pm
Fed on the breast for 20 mins
Bed 10.45
Slept until 4.35am when she woke and the dummy went back in
Woke up at 6.50 for a feed.

She usually wakes in the night unsettled but not feeding related. I don't feed her overnight now.

I try to make sure she gets fed enough in the daytime so she doesn't need to be waking hungry at night, it works for us.

I do think some babies wake out of habit not hunger as well.

That was my son too. He frank little and often x he only started drinking full bottles after he turned one.

Also he still doesn't sleep through because we have moved around alot so he is unsettled at night. Also at the moment he is ill so no sleep for me x

38 weeks pregnant. Team blue!

Lulabell - how long has ur LO been goin till 6am? A is 4 weeks younger so could he potentially go that extra hour with another month under his belt maybs????

TOR- I thought 'cud it b habit'...but tried to put his dummy in....n hes pretty good at soothing himself with his fist/thumb...so I think its genuine hunger as the dummy with not relax him.

If I go t sleep at 10-5 I can survive...but if he wakes at 4...Im a monster...lol by 6pm xxx

My lo is 1, he has his last bottle 8ozs at 4pm, goes to bed at 7 and sleeps until between 6 and 7am.

He only started sleeping through at 7 months and dropped his bedtime bottle at 10 months.

A friend of mine has a little girl and she is the same age as my lo and she only just started sleeping through 2 months ago.

Hannah is 16 weeks and she goes to bed at 6:30pm and sleeps til around 5am/6am. she has a 7oz bottle and then sleeps again til around 7/8am. She has anything from 3oz-6oz after her bath before bed.

she has 5 x 7oz bottles per day x

Samsgirl- hannah sounds like my best mates girl...a Drrrrrreeeammmm xxx

Emily is almost 4 months and goes to bed at 8.30. On a good night she will sleep til about 4am, I give her 150ml feed and then she sleeps til about 6am. From then on she stirs, but I give her her dummy and don't get her up til about 7am. That is a good night. A bad night sees her waking anything up to four or five times. I only give one feed per night, the other times she gets the dummy. It is only recently that she has started to take bigger feeds during the day. Until a week or so ago she was grazing all day - taking no more than 90ml per feed, so was hungry at night and waking frequently.
Now she is finally taking more larger feeds during the day it seems to help her sleep better at night.
Saying that though, we are fast approaching the 4 month Mark and the dreaded sleep regression that I have heard so much about... :-(

Oh nic...glad things have improved...but yeah we have got all the teething dramas to come xxx Boooooo xxx

yeah...i am incredibly lucky and i know that! ha ha....i just wait for the 4 month sleep regression thing and teething to knock it all to pot. we got her into a routine from day 1 really...well the bath, bottle, bed routine and she just gradually dropped her 10pm feed, then her 2am feed and just started going through on her own......xx

Alyssa was sleeping thru but now shes waking at about 1/2.30 for a feed. i think its teething related tho cos shes chewing bad and drooling with rosy cheeks and occasionally screaming all of a sudden in pain. combi fed so bf in the night and 5oz maximum before bed. 4 x 5oz bottles a day and bf feeds

yeah - i seem to have created this theory - good pregnancy - bad birth. (you and my best friends).... bad pregnancy - good birth (me)...but then those who seemed to have a bad birth end up with angel babies.

Not that A is not an angel .... he is so happy n content - just think he is super hungrey and Im not prepared to go down the hungry baby milk route as I read so many bad things online about it xxx

Maybe A could be teething bev - super dribbley 0 as in his tops are drenched after a walk or play but his gums dnt feel hot or hard - well no harder than id expect of a standard gum, lol.

But last week he started waking at 4 but after uppin his milk he seems to be going thru till 4.50 xx

Harry is nearly 3 months and. Goes to bed at 9-9.30 sleeps till 4.30feeds and then straight back to sleep till 730-8 and he is BF
