Is clomid working? Thoughts please!

Hi

I have just finished my second cycle of clomid at 50 mg for PCOS. I had an ultrasound at cd14 which showed I had a 26mm follicle and 7.9 endo layer - both good apparently. I had EWCM on day 13 and 14 and positive opks on both these days. Opk was negative on day 16. All sounds good right? I then had a blood test on day 26 which showed progesterone of 3! The nurse said I had not ovulated - so confused!

The day 26 test should have been day 21, but I was on holiday, so the nurse said since my last cycle was 32 days, the blood test should still work. In the end, I started spotting on day 26 and then AF arrived on day 27.

Now on third cycle of clomid (same dosage) and don't know what to think. Could i have ovulated but my progesterone had dropped before the test ?

If anyone has any answers would really appreciate it!

Also, if anyone has any experience of what happens after 3 failed cycles, let me know. Will they put me up to 100mg next?

It does sound as if they did the progesterone test too late. Can you get an appointment to find out what's going on?

I agree the test was prob done too late - sounds like you ov'ed around day 13 or 14 so would need test 7 days later xx
