Is baby growing fast enough?!

Has anyone found that they're dates keep changing when they have scans?

I've had three scans so far this pregnancy, one at 5, 7 and then at 9. At each one, the info they've written on the scan seems to jump around. Had my last scan when i should have been 9+1, but on it they've measured 8+4, yet two weeks before it said on my scan 7+2.

Is anyone else a bit confused by this? I guess you get growth spurts etc, and they can't give a def Due date until your 12 week scan? Sometimes i just worry by little one isn't growing as fast at they should (though the sonographer on Monday says it was all as she'd expect given my last period dates)

I dont know, but the one you had at 5 weeks was that through your GP?

Sorry, only just seen this response!
Yes, i had a suspected ectopic so i had a v early scan (vaginal one as it was too early through my tummy) just to check that the sac was in the right place. I've read you other posts, and it sounds like you want this kind of scan ASAP to put your mind at rest!! 7 week scan is done externally, but they can still see something at 5 weeks.
