Irregular periods

Is it normal to have irregular periods 6m after birth? Before having my lo I ovulated on day 13 and had 28 day cycles without fail. I've never had irregular cycles or heavy periods.

Since having lo my cycles have been 29, 25, 31 and now 25 again. They're also very very heavy.

Is this normal? Will it ever settle down again? I'm not on any contraception.

Are you BFing? That can change your cycles. I don't think it's unusual for them to be out of whack for a while, I'd give it a couple more months and see if they settle.
