I just keep spontaneously bursting into tears. Just rubbed cream on my tummy and my stretch marks just seem to be getting worse by the hour! I thought I had got away with it because they didnt come until about 37 weeks. I just feel so unattractive and down about my body. I know there is nothing more worth it that this baby, and I feel terrible feeling like this. I just don't know what to do to make me feel better. I know its just my hormones. Just wish baby would hurry up and make an apperance now!

Hormones are evil! I hated my stretch marks for a long time but they don't bother me so much now! I have them all over my boobs and my stomach! I call them my war wounds! They do fade in time and become less noticeable.

Just remember you are a tiger who earned her stripes! 😉

Aw hun, I can sympathise. I was like this for a few weeks before my LO was born. As you say, it is just hormones but it will all be worth it when you have your baby in your arms.

I'm covered in stretch marks, I've also been left with a saggy tummy and an 'apron' as I ended up having to have a c section.

I can't bare to look in the mirror at the moment but when I'm feeling rubbish about it I just look at my LO and remind myself that it is all so worth it.

I can't really say anything more to make you feel better, but you're definitely not the only one to feel like this and it's completely normal. Don't feel bad for these feelings, it doesn't make you a bad person!

You've not got long left to go now and I promise it will all be worth it and more :) xx

I was feeling really mopey this afternoon too - it's raining and my shoes don't fit due to swollen feet, my coats won't do up over the bump - I felt properly sorry for myself. Stretch marks appearing with a vengeance round my stomach too. It'll be worth it in the end...... *hugs* Hope baby makes an appearance soon for you :)

Hi Wishing, I know exactly how you feel. I had to stop the car three times today as I just burst into tears and couldn't see where I was going. Lovely hormones lol

Take care xx

I posted somewhere on here that I burst in to tears because the butter was too hard to spread on my crumpet!!! Darn hormones have a lot to answer for!!

(((hugs)))

Thanks ladies. Its just very strange. I know its my hormones. Just want baby to arrive sooner rather than later. I think thats part of it. I am fed up of waiting and feeling uncomfortable x

I can sympathise I felt like this towards the end of both my pregnancies. Especially my second cos I was so bloody big I was struggling to even walk by the time I got taken into hospital.

Having a baby does take its toll on your body, but like the others have said, it will get better with time. Besides I've also found after this baby I don't care as much any more. It's probably after having bell's palsy and ending up with a paralysed side of my face for three weeks! After everything I've been through I'm just glad to be where I am
