Insomnia.....

Omg... the last 2 days ive had hardly any sleep at all!! Im so tired. I cant get comfy at nights, im tossing and turning, waking my fella up lol.

Aparently it only gets worse?!

ihave a daughter who still wakes. I don't sleep through the night anymore, im kinda used to getting up (to the point where if she does sleep longer than normal, i lay awake waiting for her to wake up). the last 3-4 days have been horrible, but she hasn't been well.


but yes, im finding it difficult to fall asleep at the moment.

Hiya

I can empathise with this. For the last week or so I havent slept very well. My 5/6 times trips to the loo dont help and yesterday and all through last night I have had a terrible headache. I had to get up and go downstairs at 4am to take some paracetamols.
ALso, this restless leg syndrome can start now and again and that keeps me awake as well !!

I was going to post the same thing!
It takes me ages to fall asleep, then i get up 3 times for a wee, then normally lie there wide awake in the middle of the night. Didn't get back to sleep until 6.30 this morning, so feel awful today. Plus i think i'm coming down with a cold, so really feeling sorry for myself!!

I just find my mind starts to wonder at night, and i just think about peanut, my scans, will my cervix shorten?, will it all go as planned, yadda yadda yadda.....i drive myself mad!!

I keep falling asleep watching TV on the sofa, then when I go up to bed I can't get back to sleep. Also, if my youngest wakes up in the night I used to be able to fall straight back off but now it can take an hour. It's so frustrating.

And yes, it will get worse. I can still just about lie on my tummy, despite a little bump, and this is my most comfortable position to sleep in. But I am sure it will just be a matter of days before this becomes too uncomfortable and it's all downhill from there! In my previous pregnancies I've had to sleep with a cushion between my legs, one under the bump one under my head and one behind my back! My poor OH!
