I used to sleep a blissful 7-8 hours solid a night. Now it seems I'm only allowed a couple of hours at a time. I'm tired but it takes me a while to drop off. Then I soon wake up needing to pee, or just as often for no apparent reason, and then it takes me ages to get back to sleep again. It's been like this for 3 weeks. I'm exhausted. All my useful hubby can say is 'well that is what it is gonna be like when the baby comes!'

Anyone else suffering this?

10w3d here.

Yep, I have this too. Also get woken with tummy cramps too (never that bad, just bad enough to disturb me, and then I can't fall back to sleep for some reason). You have my sympathies! I am so happy to be pregnant, but I have such a long list of horrible pregnancy-related symptoms that I hate, and I seem to add to it each day!

Tri hopping.....
I had this until 16weeks it was awful then i had 4 weeks of proper sleep an then i started suffering with wat im aure is spd so for the past 3.5weeks ice bn bak to not sleeping properly xx

Eesh, sorry to hear! Tough, isn't it? I have terrible sleep trouble at the moment too, but I've had a sleep disorder since I was a teenager, so in a way it doesn't bother me so much! What has surprised me though is sudden overwhelming urges to nap during the day, which isn't very convenient with work! I'm falling dead asleep in the evening for a couple of hours, but then being wide awake at night as a consequence. Gah! Hopefully after 1st trimester things might settle a bit for all of us x

I seem to have settled back into a better sleeping pattern now. From 8-12weks I'd be up about 2 times a night. I'm now 13+4 and things seem to be settling down. FX.

For the first few days I think I was too exited to sleep, staying up past midnight and waking loads in the night thinking about everything, then waking properly by around 7am.

Last night & the night before I was in bed around 11pm and fell asleep pretty quickly, but woke about 3 times between then & 6am to get up to pee lol.

I think it's just getting us used to the disturbed nights when the newborn comes ;) lol

I'm so pleased to hear from those who say this might stop!

The night before last was the worst so far. Exhausted and asleep by 9, then awake at 2am. Did not sleep again after that. Had a really long busy day as a zombie and no time for a nap, until I got home at 11pm and crashed into bed. Mercifully slept until 5.30am. Still not enough, but better.

I have a pillow and blanket in the car, and most days I spend my hour lunch break at work fast asleep on the back seat. I seem to sleep best during the day. I think this baby is trying to turn me noctornal.

I'm the same I'm not sleeping much. Last night was better but I got home from work today and slept probably more because of the head ache I have. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow and iv not slept for weeks. It either takes hours to fall asleep or I sleep heavy for 3 hours then I'm up, for hours. The more I look at the clock the more annoyed I become the less I sleep.
Let's hope it stops soon and we can all get a decent amount of sleep before our beautiful babies arrive xx

im exhausted by 4.30/5 and really need a nap but im awake most of the night :/ i havent slept well ever so its not too bad but im really exhausted

I slept yesterday when I got in aswell as tonight. It's the mornings I find hard I don't want to wake up. Luckily tomorrow I start a bit later so will get a longer lay in x
