Hi all,

Had the WORST night sleep last night :( I have been bitten 5 times in the night - really big nasty bites!! OUCH

They made me ITCH LIKE CRAZY!!!!

I really want to buy some repellent & afterbite cream - Do you know if we can use this while pregnant??

Im unsure?

Thanks from a VERY ITCHY Lucy

Ooh I never thought about this... When I was on holiday I was bitten once or twice and used a Boots own brand amonia stick thing. Never even thought to check whether it was safe... x

Yeh i didnt realise till my mum said can you use that?

i popped to Boots - there is only one repellent out there - we can use! She has ordered one in for me!! Woop £6! but worth it - cus Im off to France in a few weeks!

Also there is one after bite we can use - its called Afterbite - in a white tube - with red writing!! its a GOD SENT!! No more itching - I really didnt need anything keeping me away! lol

Glad you found something! :) It's amazing how much there is out there restricting us! lol! Enjoy your holiday! I LOVE France! Always wanted to move there as a kid lol! Xx

I would only suggest a natural product such as incognito anti-mosquito spray, which can be used on babies from 6 months onwards or younger if sprayed on babys' clothing. As it contains only natural ingredients it is probably safe during pregnancy, I hope so as I used it when I was 5 months in Spain. I definitely would not use any toxic substance such as Deet -this is a deadly neurotoxin that kills brain cells according to Vincent Corbel, one of the worlds top scientists! Mary
