Insane itching!?

I'm 5w6d and constantly itchy. All over. At night it gets unbearable and I struggle to sleep. I have suffered with eczema my whole life and I am currently using cetraban cream and oilatum in the bath, my eczema is ok. This weird strong itching feeling is something I've never had before. I've read about something during pregnancy to do with your liver but usually a symptom is itchy hands and feet......I am itching all over but hands and feet.

Has anyone else had this? Or am I completely mad?!?

Nothing helps relieve the itching any suggestions to stop this crazy itching?

I don't have eczema but my skin is really itchy at the moment too! It has laid off a bit the past few days but im 5w + 2d. I would suggest a cool bath?

I developed hives with my first pregnancy. It used to be triggered by the heat or cold, it was awful. It went shortly after birth.

However it's now back and seems to be triggered by anything! I think I may be allergic to progesterone.

Mention it to midwife as like you said it could be something to do with your liver. xx

Today my Midwife said to only worry about itching on my palms and feet so it's sounds like you're ok x

Seems to have calmed down. Must have been a bad few days with my eczema. Thanks ladies xx
