when it comes to immunisations, are there different ones available and which ones do most people go for? i dont kno a lot about this but i'v heard that some are a bit harsh, like theyre 3 doses of different ones- which might be too much for such a tiny body to handle? and which ones are live vaccinations coz they scare me too.
the health visitor is here 2mro will she be telling me about it?

im not too clued up on the injections but Evies first ones were at 8weeks she got two seperatle injections (one in each thigh) but one of them was a 5-in-1 injection. :D
edit:
i was sent this page from calpol which explains all about them, what they are and when they get them
http://www.calpol.co.uk/en/latest.asp?section=40&ct=4

Your LO will have 2 injections at two months, 2 at three months and 3 at four months. You can probably ask to have them done on seperate occasions but it is probably better to just get them over and done with. They are horrible but they are over quickly. Jake was fine after all of his injections so I was lucky but some babies can get a bit grumpy and a bit of a temp. If this happens you can give some calpol. The next injections after those three lots arn't until your LO is twelve months. The vaccines are routine so you don't have to choose which ones to have although you could probably refuse them if you wanted to. I personally think that the immunisations are a good way of protecting LO from potentially fatal diseases so Jake will be having all of his.

Same as above...but yes your HV will go through it with you.....remember to write your Qu's down before she gets there so you don't forget what you wanted to ask

my HV gave me a little booklet all about the immunisations about 2 weeks before christopher was due to have his first ones it tells you which ones they have to have at what age etc and any possible side effects they might get from them
when i took him for his first ones they told me that these first ones they have are not live but im not sure about the ones they have at 12/13 months xxxxxx
