My sil gave both my niece and nephew infacol before each feed (bf) whether they needed it or not. Is this something you have done, plan on doing or is there a benefit? Any help would be appreciated!

I didn't give it to Oscar at first, but when I found him hard to wind I did give. Once his back got stronger and a bit bigger he was easier to wind so I stopped giving it then. I'll do the same this time too. xxx

I think I'd only do it if it seems that the baby needs it. I wouldn't give it just in case I don't think x

I used it with my daughter before each feed when we suspected she may have colic, it really seemed to do the job. I'm going to get a bottle for this time round just in case!

No i only gave Lo's it when they had colic/trapped wind. its not something you should give unless baby has trouble with trapped wind x

As others have said if it's easy to being up the wind u don't really need to use it but if it's hard then use each feed

Same here :)

If you do decide to use it though if your LO needs it and it works for them, you have to give it at every feed for a while for it to work, can't just give one dose here and there and expect it to work, or so I believe, so maybe SIL was doing that and it looked like she was giving it for nothing if the baby wasn't windy at that time?
