induction

i've been induced before (3 yrs ago) can anyone tell me has there been any changes? when the first pessary is inserted can OH take me for a drive..i bloody hate hanging around hospitals thanx girls xx btw i'm being induced monday

hmmm I don't think that will be an option, when I was induced 2 years ago I was asked to stay lying down for I think it was around 30mins to an hour and then encouraged to walk around - which I did. I don't think they'd advise you to leave the hospital as the contraction can come hard and fast, which they did in my case and you will need to be monitored.

Hey you!

When the first pessary was inserted, they monitored me for about 30 mins afterwards and then sent me home! I had to come back 6 hours later for the second dose though but yeah, I was allowed home afterwards

I'd ring your delivery suite, they'd be able to tell you!

We left the hospital to look at the car sales garages nearby of which there are 4. All to keep DH occupied

My contractions started there must've looked a sight.

Lauren ur going there right? they were fab on the ward
