Increase in milk production before labour?

I've been leaking for a while now, but today I have suddenly been really really leaky!

I've also noticed that I've been feeling quite crampy, not just normal aches and pains, but mild period cramps...


Just wondering if it could be the start of things and if the sudden increase in colostrum could be a sign of labour? X

I know that it's certain hormones that cause contractions that also encourage milk production and combined with the cramps in my back (nothing I can time or anything) just wondered if maybe it could be the start of something?


Also, TMI sorry, have had the runs twice today...not sure if this could be a sign eithe as recently I've been quite constipated!

Hi I woke up with a really wet patch this morning where i had been leaking on both sides. Its quite a stciky fluid actually so I assume it is the pre milk coming out. I also have had increased back ache, hot sweats, incredibel acid heart burn and a very low feeling in bottom of belly. I too wondered if increased milk production is a sign of early labour or at least the start of baby coming early? xxx

I had increase colostrum over the past two days. I was lying in bed last night and felt a drip on my arm, at first i thought it was nothing but then it got worse x x

Think mine started at about 18 weeks but its gradually getting worse x x
