Inappropriate pictures?

I know this is a bit contraversial maybe, but do you take pictures of your babies with no clothes on?

I took some photos of Emms during some nappy off time as she looked so cute, but was told off by OH and sister as they thought it was inappropriate and could be seen as dodgy!

I think this is really sad - I had pictures taken of me innocently when I was a baby in the mid 70s. No one thought anything of it then.

What do you guys think, is this PC gone mad?

i have loads of Hannah and kie and think they are perfectly naormal and what else are u going to use to embarasse them when the first girl/boyfriend comes home and their 18th birthday party

I have loads - Seren went through a stage of wanting to be naked,and Cally is always getting her bum out.They are for us (me and OH) to embarress them when they are older,I would never put them on the iternet or anyhting like that but will show close family and friends for a laugh. If people are reading more into it then that then its them with the problem.

It really annoys me when people think it's weird.

We have photos of Evie with her nappy off and in the bath. If you looked at my mum's photo album of me you'd think I didn't own clothes til I was about 2!

Then again, it's a different age now- there are pics of me running around naked on great yarmouth beach when I was about 2 whereas I don't think I'd be comfy with Evie doing that

I have pics of Angel when i've been bathing her and dressing her. And if you look at mum's photos of us we were always naked. I've never thought about it being a problem. I made her. And she's nude when i dress her without the camera and it's not inappropriate then!

yes, we have a fair few of Holly and also on video... she is so funny in the bath, there is usually more water on the floor than in the tub so we had to capture it.

I wouldnt post them on the net though, they are family snaps.

I have a few naked baby pics of Lydia, and a couple of Alex. Not many, but just because I usually don't have a camera handy at those times lol.

I don't see a problem with naked baby pics at all.

Yeah, I've got quite a few, especially since nappy off time is also big smile time.

I had this debate with myself the other day when I was printing out photos at one of those machines in Boots - would anyone stop me printing the naked ones? And why? And why was I even having that debate with myself?

There was a news story the other day about a lady who'd taken a baby pic of her son into Asda to be put on his 21st birthday cake. He had a naked bum. They refused to use it, deeming it "pornographic" - in the end they agreed to use it as long as they could put a star over it. Ridiculous.

There's nothing wrong with naked baby pictures- it's like a ritual in generation of our family to have quite a few I think getting so hung about about baby nakedness when it is in a family environment ( not posted all over the net ofc) is idiotic, some people's minds just jump too easily IYKWIM...

I have naked pics of Moo-Moo but I wouldnt put them on the internet. Hubby refuses to take pics of her naked just because he believes its so easy for things to be taken the wrong way these days. Its really sad

I can see why people dont take pics of their kids in the buff - but i take loads and keep them in a album hat i show to no one else.

i have loads of oran naked but I wouldnt post them online showing his bits I would chop them off - not hs bits obviously the picture

I have a few close up of his bits purley because he had bad hydrocele so I took a photo every month so I can go back when he is 2 and see how much its changed and if I feel the problem is still there - no one will see them though except me and OH - there on the external drive locked not on my laptop - just incase it ever got nicked!

Theres nothing dodgy about taking pics of your daughter whether shes naked or not, we have loads of Ellie cos she loves to have her bum out

I have none of Dan naked. For no reason I have to add! Only because I never have my camera out when he's in the nude! In fact this thread has made me make a point of taking some to tease him with when he's 18 So no its fine!!
