In with a chance this month?

After really stressful few days we finally dtd today, CD14. I had EWCM for 6 days, last noticeable day yesterday. I ran out of opks this month. Did one yesterday which was negative and one on CD10, also negative (only had 2 left). My last cycle was 26 days (ie AF on day 27). I'm worried we dtd too late this month. Do you think it's possible that I could still be fertile today even though I didn't see any EWCM? (my temp doesn't normally go up til CD16 or 17 and I think my luteal phase is between 11 and 14 days, usually 12)

My ovulation date was supposed to be CD14 (I have a 28 day cycle) but I get my positive OPK on CD12 so I'm thinking it's 12/13 instead.

Last month I was the same as you and thought I left it too late as DTD after a negative OPK. (Whereas the day before it was positive.)

I have heard that you ovulate AFTER the EWCM has gone.. So it could be that you ovulated today! I can't seem to recall where I read that.

I think you can ovulate up to 48 hrs after a pos opk. Thanks for the info about EWCM...that's really reassuring and hopeful. Fingers crossed for you this month! xxx

Yep pretty sure you ovulate after the EWCM (everyone's different of course!) I personally used to get it about 2-3 days prior to a positive OPK.

I got ewcm cd 21 was gone by the next day at 10am first time in months I've had ewcm so I took full advantage dtd Saturday night noticed it Sunday morning did the deed again Monday got my peak! But didn't bd after that as my oh wasn't too well I hope I was covered this time I've heard egg white cm is the most fertile just before ovualtion xxx

Okay, quick update...temp has only gone up today cd18! Last day EWCM cd13, dtd cd14. Think my cycles are really weird. How can there be a 5 day gap between EWCM and temp going up. Can it really take 3 days for the temp to change?

My temp spiked again yesterday and today so app saying i might have ovulated again! Who knows! Its so confusing! I think temp supposed to raise after ovulation. So from positive opk this could be 48 hours....depends on day you think you ovulated? Ewcm is usually couple of days before ovulation when lh is at peak. So your dates seem ok to me x

I had ewcm in the morning, then by afternoon evening it changed to white creamy, we DTD just once that night at 11pm and I caught pregnant, so yes its the last day you see ewcm that is supposed to be closest to ovulation. Unfortunately I lost the pregnancy but hope that information can help others. xx

That's give me hope as I I only had ewcm for 12 hours the days leading up too it were watery cm am it sure which day I ovulated but on cd35 no af as yet x
