Was looking around toys r us and there with the role play food there was a mc donalds basket...me and Alan were both a tad shocked that now they sell role play baskets that try and say that mc donalds is part of a good healthy everyday diet

i hate macdonalds too
theres a BBQ set in early learnig centre cassi! Get that instead. ive always wanted to get it mine but never got round to it :(

ill get one for this baby thats for sure

If I thought I could get Jess to eat a mcdonalds I would take her there, she will eat nothing just now. Just spits it out and asks for a yogurt.

I have to pass mcds to get to my mother in laws tonight. I just know I wont make it past now.

its about children having fun

I agree I dont see anything wrong with it. Zack sees McDonalds as a treat when we go, so I have no problems if he wanted to play with toy food :D

me neither - its all role playing at the end of the day

i personally would rather get him a role play set that has all sorts of foods in it not mc donalds burgers, chips and milkshakes!!!

And kids can have fun..without junk... Role play is made to teach aswell as have fun..

As budge said i would be more happy buying a good roleplay set from ELC i dont care if it has cakes and sweets in it, but it will also have veg and meat and all sorts of food in it..i think that teaches children better, and is still fun..

Thats just my opinion i dont mind what other people let their children have its fine...i just dont like it personally..

yeah me too cassi
my kids have a food box set from toys are us. In it are fruits and veg as well as burgers etc. :)

yeah i saw them they are good :) my neice has one with veg and meat and pizza and cakes and drinks...not just junk food

in early learning centre there is a lovely birthday cake set too! i love those sorts of thing. :)

Yeah things like that are cute, and dress up things i think its all great fun and educational at the same time :D

i like little tea sets too! watching them pour out imaginary tea is funny!

a kitchen is a good investment too. If you have room enough. i got a really good one when mine were younger - they used it till it dropped to bits. i ought to get one for bethany really

blody Macdonalds getting everywhere

I used to work in ELC and their pretend food is fab, as is the kitchen and BBQ (which sizzles) :D

awwww it sizzles? how cute! i want one :D

yeah a sizzling BBQ!!! how cool is that

When we take Ellie into ELC there is tonnes of kitchens etc and dolls and then there is a boys tool kit iwth works bench etc and its the first thing she always goes too..bless so i think im going to get it her for xmas :D

Go for it, I never get these gender specific toys anyway. If I have a little boy he will have a kitchen so he knows what one is as he gets older
