i couldn't believe the size of those elephant willies

also i never knew doggies locked like that when they mated

i loved seeing the puppys being born - it was so fascinating!

did anyone else see it?

i taped it but it sort of freezes at the end so i missed the last 30 minutes. other wise id send it you.
it was on sky.
it was a man who 4 d scanned elephants and dogs. you could see the elephant floating around in the womb. it was VERY good. :D
but the thing that amazed me and never fails to is the actual mating and conception bit. i think its a bloody miracle. Especially with a ten foot nob like an elephant

Was that the same on as was channel 4 a month or so back? It had a baby elephant, labrador pups and a dolphin in it. Was fabulous!

Budge - I think you're from Notts somewhere, if so have you ever been to see the tapirs at Twycross? Talk about huge

:rotfl: Well maybe not as big as an elephants. but certainly a similar proportion lol Can't find it, but there used to be a picture of a tapir "showing off" - they're usually about as long as their body  Female tapirs gestate for about 13 months - I reckon it's because the little 'un is just trying to find it's way out lol.

I've just watched the twin, triplets, quads one of these it was sooo fascinating!

The things you never knew! I am enlightened now!

Yes I watched this too its so interesting :)

It's amazing what they can find out and see inside other animals nowadays :D

Tho I cant believe how long an elephant is pregnant for, nearly 2 yrs or something
