I just had a really bad pain in my lower abdomen (sort of towards th epubic bone) it hurt so much I was doubled over and couldn't move. Is this anything to worry about do you think- I am really worried :(

I get these sometimes I asked the midwife and she said its just your womb streching.

Because your on number2 your womb streches quicker so its more tender. Thats what I was told.

Does it hurt when you sneaze or cough sometimes.

I would talk to your midwife next time you see her. Just see what she says.

Hi, I'm experiencing said pain right now. That coupled with little Beckham kicking me from the inside is sometimes making me double over - it really takes my breath away!

Mine hurts a bit when I sneeze or cough, is this normal?

My midwife said it was ok. She said the pain is not acompanied by bleeding then everything is fine.

I get it when I sneaze and I have to bend over so it wont hurt too much.

Yeah I get it when I cough too but not as bad as I had it earlier.

If it hurts so bad your doubled over in pain then you really should get checked out.
Your womb stretching wouldn't cause that much pain. I'm not saying anything is wrong but you should go and see your midwife or doctor just to be on the safe side.

Could also be a UTI infection..Easy treated so don't worry.. talk to your midwife as it could be a few things... nothing bad though.... Lv Yvonne xx

Hun i had the exact same pains and I couldn't walk straight for 2 days. I read about it online and found out what it was - round ligament pains. I'm sure u had the same pains. if you go down a bit you will find my post about round ligament pains, with articles I found online. It's nothing to worry about, it is your uterus that is stretching and at times the pain is unbearable and that's when it's the actual ligaments. Read the articles I found and they will reassure u big time. I rested for 2 days, did nothing but layed down and took warm baths. and now It's completely gone. you're not the only one experiencing those pains, you will find a few more posts about it in the forum.
