In hospital all day yesterday

Hi all, I woke up at 3.30 yesterday morning with contraction pains. Thought they might have been braxton hicks so got up had a cuppa etc. By 5.00 they weren't any easier so got the kids to my parents and my dad took me to hospital.

They're not sure wots going on, they gave me 2 steroid injections and the pain eased to they sent me home last night with instructions to rest so o/h has had to have leave from the navy to look after the kids and me - bless him.

They don't know why my body keeps doing this as its happened in every pregnancy but first signs of anything and i have to go back in. Raa - I just with i knew wot my body was up to!!!!!

Ooo, sounds like something may be happening. How many weeks are you hun?? Why have they given you steroids?

The steroids are to mature the baby's lungs coz i'll only be 29 weeks on wednesday.

oh nikki, sorry you are feeling bad. 29wks is not really when you wanna meet your LO but I am sure all will be fine ... keep us posted xxx

Seriously, you enjoy putting your feet up and let OH look after you, the kids and the house.
