Hope this is in the right place. got it inserted on the 13th of november and for 5 weeks after i was permanently bleeding, just as we were starting to dtd as well. i went back to the drs and she gave me a pill that would stop the period and was told it was probably just my body 'clearing itself out' however i had a period as expected which started the last weds of december amd just started again.... im so pissed off with it. has anyone got any experiences of this happening with them?

my dr is after putting me on the pill to control the period however i dont particularly want to be on the pill and have the implant. it feels pointless to me......

When they put me on the pill to stop the bleeding I asked for the implant to be kept in therefore thinking if I forgot to take the pill the worst that would happen is i would bleed. but no I fell pregnant whilst on them both x

really? you fell pregnant whilst on both!? christ!!!!i just dunno if iwanna use both. i have NEVER ever forgotton to take a pill and the only reason i started on implanon was that i kept getting told it was easier than everyhting else but its turning to not be and its becoming more a bloody pain....im so pissed off its untrue! x

i had the impant. when it was first put in i had a period like every 2 weeks.. but it eventually died down and i was having about 3 periods a year... i loved the implant.. it worked really well for me as i was useless at taking pills..
