I'm somewhere between 5 and 13dpo, stupid chart!!!

First month charting and more confused than ever! I had a few "mountain top and valley days" on my chart right around the time I was supposed to ovulate. Partly because I had a stuffy nose and slept with my mouth open and even temped while breathing through my mouth a little a couple of days, partly because I was on holiday an had a very uneven sleeping pattern...

I have found out that if I discard those one or both of those days my chart completely changes, and actually, based on both cm and opk's it seems more likely that I ovulated 5 days ago rather than 10 days ago like my chart first would suggest.

If I did ovulate 5 days ago I might still have a chance since we did bd right before that, but 5 days ago is the first of 4 days of positive OPK's, and I thought the temp would rise after positive opk's, not right on the day! so confusing!

If my temp keeps rising and I don't get my period for another week or so I guess I simply didn't ovulate with the first lh surge. It just doesn't make much sense to me that I'd get positive OPK's and negative HPT's unless I actually ovulated now. But even with the latest positive OPK's my temp doesnt really match up! argh

I kind of just want to get my period so I can start with a blank chart, charting everything under normal conditions in my own home, at regular times, being able to jump my husband anytime I think it might be helpful!
