a Vacumn cleaner - ok sorry, I know it is really boring, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good one. DH has had the one we have for like 15 years and he loves it, he rescued it apparently  , so im not telling him Im just buying one, but if it is not decent ill be listening to him for years to come

Well I don't have one but Im guessing that a Dyson is the best you can get?

By the way, I meant I dont have a Dyson...I do own a hoover though

oh my god deffo go for a dyson we have an animal and it is brilliant deffo recommend it

def dyson for me too. We have the animal and with a dog and 2 cats its excellant.

Dyson, dyson, dyson every time! I have a long haired cat who malts like its going out of fashion and I wouldn't have anything else!

We've got Henry and he's great! V simple and sucks up ANYTHING which is good for us as we've been doing the bathroom and it's created lots of dust and mess! I found the Dyson temperamental and the thermostat would cut it off after a while.

The suction is good on Henry, but when I used to have one it really hurt my back and I really prefer ones without bags.
My mom is like you though, she doesn't like dysons but she loves her Henry!!
