I'm new can you help with the abbrevs!

Hi im Lisa and new to this site but i think its fab. Came off the pill in feb and so desperately wanting a baby now but nothing first month of trying, don't know if i can take the disappointment of getting a period and being so gutted i'm not pregnant. I've been ready to be a mum for years but waited til my OH was ready and now he is which is great. Thanks for all the tips on the site, slowly picking up the lingo!!

Itake it BD is baby dusting, Whats AF, i take it BFP is positive what does the BF mean? its probably obvious so forgive me! any other help with abbrevs is much appreciated. Good luck to you all.

Hey Lisa,

Welcome to the forum. Im 20 and have been trying for 3 months. Unfortunately its not always that easy to fall pregnant like people think!! But trust me it will be worth it in the end. Its annoying getting your period (af) when you dont wanna see it and it doesnt get easier but you just gotta go for it and think positive if you really wanna conceive. Good luck, if you need any advice etc PM me whenever you like. Have you tried OPK's yet?

Hey all

thanks for the replies and help with the abbrevs, they all def make sense!

Day 33 today of a normally 35-36 cycle and feeling sick as a dog but went away at the weekend and got sun stroke so i think this explains it. AF is looming! Haven't tried OPK's yet as this is only 2nd month of trying so thought i would get into thatr later on if needed.

We must have BD at least three times as much as normal last month and i admit sometimes it was literally a baby-making thing and i didn't want it to be like that, have to make sure we get the sparkle back next month i think!!

Yeah you kinda feel like a robot after a while dont you??? All the magic somehow goes lol. You must let us know if AF arrives in a few days or not!
