but i never though they would happen so often at this stage.

hows it going hun

i would say you were fine...i started getting them earlier than that

Havent a clue myeslf but just read this & thought maybe you should ring MW, I could be wrong tho:

When should I call my doctor or midwife?

Call if your contractions are accompanied by watery or bloody vaginal discharge. Until you reach term (37 weeks gestation), call your midwife if the contractions are accompanied by lower back pain, if you feel more than three contractions an hour, or if they're coming at regular intervals; these are signs of premature labour.

completly normal at your stage.. some women dont get any at all.... i had some recently.. and i always have a few in a row for some reason.. then they go.. as happychick has quoted.. as long as they arnt painfull, etc etc theres nothing to worry about..

I wouldn't worry babes. It's supposed to be normal.

I don't think I have had any. I'm having twinges, but I don't know if they are BH. xx

I get braxton hicks all the time. They're nothing to worry about unless they're becoming very regular over a long period of time, painful or are accompanied by any changes in CM or blood.

I've been getting them since I was 15 weeks. Some days I hardly get any. Some days I'm getting them in bouts of about 1 every 5-10 minutes that usually lasts for an hour or so, then they subside completely.

I take it as a signal that I need to relax as usually if I drink some water and rest for a bit they ease off. Make sure you stay well hydrated and eat plenty. This does alot to ensure that you don't suffer from pelvic pain/braxton hicks as things like this can be aggravated by dehydration and low blood sugar.

thanks everyone
neeko to answer to your question i'm doing ok! Just a few muscle pains as i made a bit too much effort lately, i baby sat and helped my sister move house. now i'm resting, laying down for most of the day and letting DH do everything!
