Oh my god I just found a grey hair I can't be grey. I'm not old. I am 29..not even 30. But it was there, waving around in rush hour traffic, I looked in the mirror and seen it and almost crashed.

I pulled it out, right there and then, so now I know that 10 more will grow in it's place. It was so thick..like a pube, a grey old mans pube!!!! It was long too, they must be super speedy cos I only dyed my hair 3 weeks ago, the rest of my hair don't grow so fast...

I honestly can't believe it, I will remember this day forever..Tuesday 24th June..with misery..the day I went grey :(

Now I will have to buy special hair dye, the kind that promises to cover 100% of grey. The kind you think you'll never need to buy yourself. I'll have to send Robin to buy it or order online...Oh my god!

My OH has LOADS of grey hair. He's 26. Apparently he's been grey since he was 15! Since living with me it's got so much worse! Lol

my hubby is 31 and he has a fair few greys now too - you're right they're thicker than normal hairs, more like pubes.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: sorry the way you wrote your email... it cracked me up :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: btw DH has several grey hairs, has since I met him, so he's had them since he was 20 at least but :shhh: he's very sensitive about it :rotfl:

I discovered my first at 27, in the changing rooms at TopShop.

It was a thick, wiry one, waving out of the top of my head as if to say 'You're too old for TopShop now, off to Wallis with you' :(

i have lots of grey hairs unless i die them :(

but ugh, can you imagine, grey pubes....

Would you dye your pubes if they went grey? Seriously would you?

I thought I found a grey hair the other day and was all WTF I'm not 17 til Monday! Then I realised it was toothpaste.

I just knew you'd reply like that :shakehead: It's serious y'know..I might need therapy. I've been telling people at work and they all just laughed too...

I work in a retirement home... that could be why they were not sympathetic...

I wish it was toothpaste..i just know I'm gonna wake up in the morning and be snowy white, I'm gonna head off to Wallis for some retail therapy.

What is Wallis? Is there one in the Metro center...? Oh my goodness, there is a whole world of old to be discovered. How terribly disappointing :(

I may as well get a set and blue rinse while I'm out. And a merkin.

http://www.merkinworld.com/ like this :D 8)

:rotfl: :rotfl: Aww bless you hun.

I'm 31 and found my first grey at 21
I don't know what i'd do without highlights.

Not found any grey pubes tho yet OH has a few though :shhh: :rotfl:

I have loads of grey hair and have done since I was quite young. My mum went grey very young. I dye my hair and it really needs doing right now!

I find it quite theraputic pulling them out though, especially the pubey ones :rotfl:

But hey, get this, this is weird. I have a grey eyebrow! . not all of it, just a chunk of it above my left eye, its so weird and I have to either dye it or cover it up with an eyebrow pencil or mascara thingy. Its very odd and looks shaved from a distance. Looks normal when i cover it up though thank god.

:rotfl: I found my first grey hair when I was about 18/19.

I just pulled them out and luckily 10 didn't grew in their place, occasionally I find the odd one and I am not even 21 yet :rotfl: :rotfl:

LOL! THEY DONT GROW ANY QUICKER THEN OTHER HAIRS HONEST! (BY TRADE I WAS A HAIRDRESSER FOR 9 YEARS!) THEY ARE JUST VERY STUBBORN TO COLOUR,ESPECIALLY IF YOU USE SEMI PERMANENT COLOURS!
ITS AN OLD WIVES TALE THAT MORE GROW IF YOU YANK THEM OUT!!
