Haha I'm glad there are other people here that put their tree up on 1st December - when I tell people that I put mine up then they normally look at me like I'm crazy I just love Christmas so much, having the tree up makes everything feel so lovely

Weve always put our up on the 1st of december. Then it comes down after new year

Its an awful lot of effort to have your tree up for a teeny length of time i think! Plus its a moodbooster too isnt it? You see it in the living room and its nice

It totally is, it just makes everything seem so lovely Only problem is that this year there is even less room for a tree than normal... last year we found room, but you could only sit on one end of one of our sofas because the tree was in the way of the other end!

This year I think we'll just have to move to somewhere bigger before December

I'm putting mine up mid November this year, but that's because I'm due late November and want it done before bubs arrive. I love having my tree up early, it really is a waste of time if you put it up a few days before and take it down straight after. I'm already trying to make the house feel festive with candles everywhere and am thinking about where decorations will go. Can't wait for the house to be completely decorated love Christmas!
