Well well well ....... i'm back from Dr Davies
I think my consultant is the reason my BP is so high every time i see him
High BP at 158/98 and 156/97 today, but no protein in urine thank god so not Pre-eclampsia
Baby is in the Anterior position and 3/5's engaged
All seems fine, baby heartbeat is strong and he's still a little wriggler
Estimated to be an 8lb'er at due date
AND .............
Ive been booked in for induction next Tuesday 23rd at 9:30pm !!!
Strange time BUT the head MW had a chat with me and said i should be prepared for a c-section as baby is quite big for me (4ft 11) and they will be monitoring my BP quite closely
Hubby can come in with me next Tuesday and they will try and start me off - but she said that hubby may have to go home and me have the c-section on Xmas eve at 8am when he can come back in.
So i have a feeling that a c-section will be the way i go - but i don't think they wanted to dash ALL my hopes of a normal delivery - i suppose it depends on what the hossie decide
Goodness knows - BUT either way i'll be in on Xmas Day (as i'd guessed earlier ) and allowed home on Boxing day
Cant decide whether to smile or cry - i'm not sure how i feel now - obviously i'm excited but worried at the same time
