I'm aunty!

Ok, so maybe not the usual announcement in here, but i wanted to share! My younger sister found out she was pregnant two days before i did, and when we had all our dating scans, conveniently the same days a few mins apart, we discovered that our due dates are two days apart too!

Anyways, both our pregnancies have had their own different properties, i developed PGP/SPD and she's been in and out of hospital for the last 9 weeks with bleeding, some of it so heavy that she was tachycardic and was rushed into theatre. They managed to stop the bleeding so after a few weeks sent her home. She was back two days, on Monday having passed a very large blood clot.

Well in the early hours of this morning, my sister had an emergency c-section at 36weeks +1 and had a little boy, weighing 5lb 14oz. He's currently in SCUBU as he's got a little bit fluid on his lungs

Just spoke to my mum, and she's still on the labour ward because she's still having problems with the bleeding, something to do with the placenta having a flat bit underneath, or at least thats what she thinks. So we're not allowed to see her, and we're not allowed to see the baby but the pics we've seen are really cute!

Congratulations to your Sister, hope her and the little one are ok and home very soon! I'm an Auntie to a Niece & 2 Nephew's there is also another Nephew on the way due in November. I love being an Auntie - obviously love being a Mummy a whole lot more!! x
