its near 20 past 4 in the morning and Im watching a jeremy kyle repeat! :roll:


been trying to sleep since 11pm, finally felt like i was dozing off an a frigging insensitive idiot friend of mine decided to ring me at 1.45 am just for a gossip?! WTF??? :wall: :wall: :wall: is she gonna do that when the baby is here just ring on a whim at daft o'clock in the morning?! Im considering ringing her at 6am "just for a jangle cos im bored" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.


Iam having bad enough problems trying to sleep i get bursts of 2-3 hours of sleep then im awake for a few hours then im asleep for a couple of hours and believe it or not its not like Ive not mentioned it to anyone.

anyho does anyone have any tips on how to get to sleep???
other than shutting my eyes :lol:

aww, hun what a miserable feeling for you! I moved out to the USA a few months back, its only just coming up to bed time. so im always up at this time and looking on here.

I used to have a serious insomnia problem as a teen, and nothing would work, then i put a dvd system in my room and watched the same set of programmes (like Friends or the simpsons or something) and as i got to know each episode, it just started to send me to sleep. only problem now is i associate those kinds of shows with sleep, so i can never stay awake through them :) no loss, dont like tv much anyways.

ohhh the lack of sleep is killing me too! I cant get comfy at all because of my bump - and its going to get bigger :(
Or if i do get to sleep in the end i have to get up for work at 6 so its not enough sleep for me!!

didn't get any sleep what so ever last night, ended up watching this morning and after that managing to get to sleep for 3 hours WTF???
I just want to get a decent nights sleep :pray: , i feel like crying its getting to me now :wall: .

:hug: Ooooo stinky! I had real trouble last night too.

I just try and stay as calm as possible because soon as you start getting all stressy then you make it worse for yourself. Have a bath or shower and some warm milk read a book fluff your pillows up all comfy and if your anything like me turn a heater up so it makes you feel all sleeeeeeppppyyyy :sleep: :sleep: :sleep: :sleep:

Also think because you didnt sleep last night you will be really tired and wont find it hard to sleep tonight. Dont go down the path of thinking because you didnt sleep last night you wont sleep tonight because you shouldnt find it too hard. :hug:

Oh its horrible having night after night of broken sleep, I am up each morning at 02.30 on the dot. My body is dying to sleep but the mind won't have it :doh:

Can you manage a hot milk or hot chocolate before bed? It might make you sleep or make you feel sleepy :hug: :hug:
