I started losing weight after having Joe, my 3rd baby. It has taken me so long and hard work to get just over 2st lighter and 2 dress sizes smaller. I am getting happier with my body, still want more off. But I have been left with the worse tummy button from hell.

Even if i got to a size 8 I would still never brave a normal bikini. I have bought 2 tankinis for my holidays this year.

Can anyone tell me please if it will go naturally or if surgery is my only route please? I wouldnt do surgery though as I know i would get depressed over scars. But I also dont want to get my hopes up of it going on its tod.

I am sorry pic is big and tum is discusting

you have done absolutley fab loosing that weight!!! well done.

Have you been exercising aswel? Maybe hit the sit ups with avengance might help??

hiya thanks hunni :)
Yes i do the Charlie Brooks DVD 3 or 4 times a week which also has Pilates part on it to help tone the tummy. Its helped bring in the tummy but not the skin :(
I think i might just have to come to terms with it lol

Thats fantastic!!  Well done you!!
And Im not totally sure about how your skin will go as I havent lost all the weight I want to yet but I have to say, if I was you, I would still wear a bikini!!! You probably think it looks far worse than it does! You look fab!! :D

I think you look great. If I had your figure I wouldn't think twice about wearing a bikini. Well done on the weight loss

I agree with Lea, you've done so well to lose the weight and it doesn't look bad at all! Wear your bikini's with pride mama

Why don't you try some Bio oil? I'm going to get some for my skin on my tummy now I've lost weight :)

just wanted to say, my belly button has done exactly the same :( i would still wear a bikini on holiday but i don't think there's much we can do for it being honest, it's the skin, it can't be toned.

you look fab btw, well done

***eta - i was thinking about having my belly button re-pierced at some point, i don't know if that would make it look nicer?

Firstly fantastic for losing the weight, id never notice the bely button unless you pointed it out.
What age are you, skin is much more elastic when you are younger, also are you moisturising, its amazing the difference a good tightening moisturinsing cream , im talking nivea nothing expensive, can do if used twice a day

I have tried bio oil and the coconut butter cream, None seemed to make a difference. I did the bio oil for about 4 months after joe was born. I may start using it again, See if it tones the skin. Im not sure if its just used to fade things or not lol.

i think its one of those things that unless you willing to have surgery not much will help. Drs will just tell me where to go and use some of these on the shelve creams. which i dont blame him really i know there are people out there in more need than i am.

Wrinkly skin for me from the age of 25. yay the joys of stretching 3 times to make pretty little people

Sarafet i was thinking that too the other day. If i repierced it what would it look like and also would it take the attention away from the wrinkles lol.

chickadee, I think i might pick up some of the nivea tightening creams. I have only tried the stretchmarks stuff. Even if it doesnt work it will make my skin smooth

thanks girls for your comments xx

Actually I think it would look good pierced :D Treat yourself!

Lou i really fancy it and im sure i can get my hubby to pay after the amount he just spent on new tattoo :talkhand: Oooo Can i handle the pain though again is the question.

I have had it peirced in the same place 3 times before  kept having to take it out, when i joined the navy, when i got preg.

I would need to go a female though who wouldnt mind looking at wrinkled tum lol

one thing about getting it repierced- get a shorter bar.

my bar is really long in the hole now because the top bit went saggy IYKWIM.

will try and get a photo!

:D

Have you tried them body wrap things? Don't they tighten the skin?

I don't think its bad hun to be honest with you, you look nice and slim to me

 picture makes my belly look hairy but see what I mean? it's the same bar as before!

and as for wearing a bikini- YES! do you know how much I would kill for curves like that!!?? Bio Oil is really good for strechmarks- I had a couple on my stomach which are completely invisible now :) Well worth the price tag!

Ta Jade, mine is definatly saggy where the hole is so yes would probably need the shorter bar lol

Lou, thanks :) I have never thought about those body wraps. I might take a trip to town tomorrow, find out how much the button piercing is and pop into boots see what i can find for the skin. Im really wanting to sort it out asap because Joseph was my last baby. I want my body back for myself finally

Jade do you know how long your bar is please   I can see what you mean about i would need a shorter one. Still looks lovely though.

My friend who is losing weight naturally she is size 6 and tiny she says she would love to have curves and boobs like me, but I would like to swap bodies with her lol. Shame we cant and then all be happy :rotfl:

no idea what length this bar is but I am going to pop into the piercing place tomorrow so will let you know how long the bar is that they give me!

another good thing is that a good tan makes you look a size smaller too- don't cover your belly up else you'll be uneven!! :moon:
