Ignorance really bugs me!!

I was going getting Halle's medicines from the local pharmacy, obviously you ended up having to wait until next year for them to get it ready so of I plodded to sit down on 1 of the 4 chairs offered in the pharmacy..

So, I have Halle asleep in my arms and a girl comes in, mid twenties, fit as a fiddle, she sits down on 2 out of 4 chairs , then in comes a guy in his late twenties ish, sits down on the 3rd chair offered, again, no visible pains or disabilities, another girl comes in, about 20, plonks herself on the last chair that was next to me and spent the entire time chewing a chewy so loud I felt like ramming my fist down her throat and grabbing the f'ing thing out myself!

All sat comfortable until 2 OAP's sauntered in, one of which was CLEARLY struggling to walk and would need to sit down once she had handed her prescription in.. I looked at all the young people sat down to see if anybody was going to politely offer the chair they are sat on.. DID THEY F**K! Not one! Who ended up getting up with a fecking 2 month old baby in my arms! YES! ME!! I nearly shouted out to the lot of them " Shame on you, you ignorant rude knobsacks! "

So it doesn't get any better, I had a bag of medicines handed to me and again Halle in my arms, so to open the door to go home was Abit of a task, again not one of the ignorant knob jockeys got up to help, it was infact the lovely old lady whom I let sit down!

Its really sad how society has become like this esp the new generation. But you guys havent been to Russia.
I remember when i was on the tube coming back from a meeting on Friday evening and quite heavily pregnant. This bloke was sitting on a priority seat and listening to his mp3 and tried to ignore me. I came up to him and said excusw me?!

how has the world become so ignorant??? really boils my blood, had to stand on the bus numourous times to let elderly people sit down at almost 9 months pregnant because no one else would. it awful that people have become like this.

I always got brought up to respect my elders! But to be honest, it wasn't a matter of respect to give a lady who was struggling my seat, it was more a case of helping a person in need! I should have said something to the lot of them! Kicking myself that I didn't! X

This reminds me of a buggy incident. Was on the bus when I was about 7 months Preg so My mum was like sit in the front and there was another lady sat on the ther side with a new born baby, think She said it was 11 days and it was in its pram. A long comes some chav with a ginormous double buggy filled with shopping with one child in It the other one running around the bus shoved herself in doesn't bother folding her buggy or anything and the poor lady with the newborn Had to hold her newborn and fold her pram with no help in the end an old lady held her baby whilst She folded it everyone where I was sitting stuck with this stupid huge buggy. Could barely get past when we had to go the chav just looked at me didn't bother moving her pram xx

I used to travel through southall everyday to get to work. Nik'll know what It's like on the busses there as your in Feltham aren't you? generally it's chaos, there are some major commuter routes and they pack out big time I saw women have near enough fist fights over buggy space. The bus drivers through there were shit as they'd let 3 buggies on a 2 buggy bus!

It's also about the way people speak to each other and generally treat each other. No respect, so many people with really shitty attitudes. I was taught to speak to people and treat people the way I'd want to be treated x

Some people are so rude and have totally no manners at all.

It's something I noticed more when pregnant prob because I was protective of bump but folk would barge past you or just be generally thoughtless when seeing you are heavily pregnant

I really hate selfish ignorant people!!

Can't abide the noisey, open mouthed chewing of gum (or eating with an open mouth either!!) and the way that kids are not taught to let adults go first or move out of the way for others. It seems some parents think their children should be the priority!!

And people who don't say thank you if you hold the door open for them, or let them go first and even when you let another car go in front, no one pops their hand up to say thank you now!!

I have to admit I am bad though......if I've held a door open and not got a thank you I will say in a very loud voice 'No No my pleasure thank YOU very much'!!! Or a sour faced service assistant that just grunts at you 'I'm sorry I didn't here that above your smile'!!!

My OH gets sooo embarrased!!!


Oh I could go on and on about manners...................but best climb off my Grumpy Old Woman soapbox now!!!
