Hey!
So me and my boyfriend have had trouble agreeing on names - I’m more for the unique, he’s more for the rustic (at least for boys names).
We kind of meet on names that are known but underused. We like outdoorsy, sporty names, that's very much what we’re about as a couple, my boyfriends a firefighter, plays semi-pro football and we both love camping, boating, & especially snowboarding (and we want our kids to have cool names for when they’re ripping up the X-Games!!).
We have twin boys: Fraser Atlas & Ronnie Andrew, and we want names that fit well with them - ruling out Roman (which we love), Fergus & Riley.
We’re open to ideas but we do have a list of names were keen on that we’d love some thoughts on:
Angus Roman Jett-Shepherd
Angus Heath Jett-Shepherd
Angus Cedar Jett-Shepherd - Angus is our front runner! Its all boy and underused. We think Gus is cute.
Scott Fergus Jett-Shepherd - Again we like this, its a solid name but you see very few little Scott’s about
Bruno Tobias Jett-Shepherd - Bf suggested this, I really liked it, but now he’s back-pedalled a bit, thinking its to “trendy”.
Aspen Fleur Jett-Shepherd - We love that this is feels super sporty!! Awesome on a 5 year old, awesome on a 15 year old, awesome on a 25 year old, awesome on a 35 year old....just slightly worried how this name ages after that.
Alaska Rose Jett-Shepherd - This is the kind of name I thought my bf would never go for, but he does. We love the super clean, crisp feel/sound of this, gorgeous name, just slightly put of that its ‘placey’ and I usually don't like that.
Alexa Bay Jett-Shepherd (Lexi) - Kind of like our more grounded version of the above names (yeah, apparently we have a thing for short girls names that start with A, lol) We like it, and we like the Lex/Lexi thing, BUT its more popular than we'd like.
