Ladies, since my csection, I've been sooooooo gassy and windy a lot of the time and sometimes have stomach aches, wondering if csection can somehow bring on ibs. Any of you ladies suffered similar after sections?

Me too!!! Really so full of wind, I constantly surprise myself! thought it would have improved by now as im nearly 9 weeks pp! i'll be interested to follow this thread x

Not good eh! I've never been so windy in my whole life! Feel like everything's changed down there! X

I remember having this for a while after my first section. No problems since (and none after my second section, oddly enough). I don't remember how long it lasted though.

I think it takes a while for things to get back to normal after a v birth too. It takes a while for your insides to settle back to the right place, that could be part of it.

This and IBS is caused by (poor) diet. I'd avoid gassy foods for a while think beans, (a lot of) onions, soda's and so on or at least try to limit your intake see if you're less gassy after.

I had to take iron tables after my c-section and they caused me no end of grief with my stomach, bowels etc.
