I went back to work today.....

It killed me I'm only part time but I really didn't want to leave owen at all

As soon as I got there All i could think about was what he was doing whether he was ok. ( he was with his auntie )

I tried to stay positive because abit of adult conversation wont do me any harm but I'd rather have my little conversation in baby talk with owen!

I just want to cry because I know tomorrow is going to come and I don;t want it to!!!

It is hard but it does get easier and you'll find that you enjoy your time together more and he'll get something out of spending time with others.

sorry you had such a tough time hun.

i'm sure you will both settle into your new routine and although you may never fully 'Love' being back at work i find that i do enjoy myself when i am here and really dont mind it - saying that i would still be with alex at home anyday given the chance!

Orrr hun sorry you are so upset about being back at work. I too am back at work and wasn't looking forward to leaving Jacob at all either. I cried all of Sunday thinking about it but I haven't found it too bad now it is happening! Don't get me wrong I would love to be at home with Jacob, I do worry that I will miss out on his 'firsts' but am lucky in that Jacob will be either looked after by DH (as he works shifts) or grandma (and I am only back at work 4 days) and they have been great texting me and keeping me updated!!) The best is when I get home and see him, he smiles and kicks his arms and legs with excited to see me which is the best feeling ever I hope that it gets easier for you hun ...
