I want to go home :(

I've had enough of this holiday now. Miami/Florida keys was fine as it was relaxing but since Monday I have been in NYC.

The first night in the hotel they had given us a room which was next to some buildings A/C outlet. I have never heard a racket like it. I have no idea how anyone could sleep there. After travelling I was tired and despite trying for 2 hours I couldn't sleep so I went to reception at silly o clock and demanded to be moved. The hotel has been very good in fairness and got us another room.

The beds are really small though and have a strange mattress which is playing havoc with my back so I have barely slept.

I am exhausted.

I am sick of walking, my feet are swelling up big time and early afternoon my bones start aching. OH is getting sick of me and we keep squabbling about stuff. I just want to chill out but he wants to see everything, which I totally understand.

I can't wait to be back in my own bed!!

I am back Sunday which I know is only a few days but I'm dreading today it's our last full day and I know OH is wanting to do lots of stuff I keep asking to go into mcDs for a drink just so I can sit down 5 mins!

I'm sounding a bit miserable here when I should be pleased I have had chance to visit before baby is here. I would not recommend coming to NYC if you are almost 4 months pregnant though.

Couldnt you maybe do a sightseeing tour by bus or something. Thats what we did in San Francisco last month - i got to sit down and DH got to see everything.

Sometimes if we went into a museum, id just find a seat and tell him to come back for me - epecially when we were on the 100th boat (ok thats an exaggeration but it felt like it, lol)

We've done the hop on hop off bus tour for the last 3 days. today we have no mode of transport except feet (unless we decide to brave the subway!) I'm all out of sorts, I can't sit down for too long or I ache, I can't walk for too long or my feet swell up and ache. I'm just a moaning minnie I think lol.

I want to go to the natural history museum today as well but I'm not sure I'll make it!

Oh hun I felt exactly the same as you and just couldn't wait to get home. On the hottest day of the holiday the sister in law declared she wanted to go walking up a load of waterfalls.....I think not, neither my legs, back or bladder could have taken it so I burst into tears, told them all to f off and threatened to give them all a hiding if they said anything....aaahhhh hormones xxxxxxxxxx
