I was having a tummy feel.. and well it feels like babys head is back under my ribs, i can feel along her back and the hard lump of her hips/butt , and the wrigglyness of her head.. and yeah.. damnit :wall2:

Get on all 4's and scrub the kitchen floor! You have a stubborn little girl already!!

get on all 4's or go on a birthing ball, the heads the heaviest thing supposedly so should fall down with gravity :)

I can't tell the head from the arse! If I get a high up lump, I've just been assuming its a bum! I can feel its back sometimes, but the two big lumpy bits feel the same to me :(

The head moves independantly of the body, wheras the butt dont, so if you gently feel on each side of the lump, and its wrigglable.. its prolly the head. Kinda hard to explain, my midwife explained it all to me and had me feel at the same time so it was easier to understand lol, maybe ask your midwife to teach you at your next appointment?

The midwife did say though that even they get it wrong sometimes, so while its fun to have a feel and try and work it out.. dont take it too seriously, if you know what i mean!

Ive just cleaned the kitchen.. about to get down on my hands and knees to do the floor LOL !

bums are meant to be hard, and heads are softer so my midwife told me, i thought she had got it the wrong way round but she assures me that bums are harder than heads cos of the bones having to move to get them through the birth canal

Just like her mammy! :D

Weve decided that the baby knew we were thinking it was a boy, so deliberately grew girl parts! :p

Hmm, been prodding but can't find any obvious bumps at the moment, will keep trying!

A friend recently had a baby and they totally got it wrong - only knew it was the wrong way round when they saw a bum rather than a head
