Hi all, im really sorry but am feeling a bit fed up and need to moan...

This pregnancy is so different than last time, I just dont know whats going on :rotfl:

Symptoms at the moment are, the top 1/2 of my left fore finger keeps going completely numb and cold (i am guessing its carple tunnel)...then the joint of my thumb on the same hand is now really sore and it makes my whole wrist and arm ache and feels week (dont know what that is)...
I am also really worried as had probs with my pelvis in the last few weeks of my last PG but it has started really early this time!!! i waddle already and i wake up with really bad pains in my hips and back and cant walk very far, whats gonna happen in a few weeks.

Well am feeling better now i have let it out :cheer: is anyone else having the same problems???

Well i am going to bed as it takes ages to get comfy and am really tired...

Thanks for listening

My hands get numb very easily, especially when driving. And my hips hurt so much at night that I can't sleep properly.

Hope you start feeling better soon

Yes yes and yes hehe. My hands get pins and needles often and sometimes when I wake at night I can't feel them! Also my hips and pelvis hurt too! I have trouble lying on my right side as my hip starts to ache/throb. It's difficult to walk sometimes and to get up off a chair. I mentioned it to my MW and she wasn't particularly interested or concerned and said there was some kind of support belt that would help. I'm also having concerns about how bad it's going to get as I've 14 weeks to go yet.

So here are a few      because I understand your discomfort.

I had carpel tunnel syndrome last time around 26 weeks or something and it was awful..I've been prescribed to wear a splint which eased things but didn't cure..i was back to normal 10 days after birth..and 2 days after birth things changed dramatically so hopefully yours won't be any worse...
Yes I get pain in my hips especially when I get out of bed it's terrible !

Tigger  I had SPD in the last months of my first pregnancy and ended up needing crutches as the pelvic pain was so bad. Im not yet 17 weeks pregnant this time round and the pains have already started....especially after sitting down for awhile, or getting out of bed or getting out of a car. Like you, Im waddling too and I dread climbing stairs (nevermind having to climb stairs with my 11 month old in my arms!!!).

I am filled with fear that I am like this at only 17 weeks...what will I be like when Im 6,7,8 months?!? I have a referral to the physiotherapist so hopefully something can be done. Im not sure how much a tummy support band will do, when I felt it didnt help much last time!

My doctor explained in my case, having fallen pregnant 7 months after giving birth to my first child, the ligaments in the pelvic area have not had time to heal properly...hence the early onset of SPD in my 2nd pregnancy.

Have you informed your midwife/doctor of your pelvic problems? Wishing you a healthy and comfortable as possible pregnancy

Thanks so much guys for your support and i send you all

I mentioned my fears of getting SPD again at my booking in appt (but it wasnt with my MW) she didnt seem that bothered, my 16 week appt was with consultant as my son was a section. I didnt mention it then as hadnt really started having a problem...
My next MW appt is on 21st Jan so am going to ask then about all of it but am expecting her to just say "OH DEAR, THERE ISNT REALLY ANYTHING CAN BE DONE"... :wall:

Like most of you i am also just worried about lasting the 9 months when i am stuggling already!!! The worry has turned me into a really snappy and hormonal person (or was i like that anyway) :rotfl: I cant just put my feet up like last time as my nearly 2 1/2 year old has other ideas and we are Potty training which is making more work :wall: I am feeling very tired and worn out by it all and wish i could just relax and enjoy this pregnancy as i am not having any more after this one :)

Thanks again for all your support, here is hoping that it doesnt get any worse for any of us and time flies xxx
