I still can't believe it!

Hi girls, I found out I was pregnant 3 days ago and I woke up this morning and felt like it was all a dream! Then I realised it wasnt, and became irrationally afraid that there had been some mistake and Im not really! I think Im going to do another test to make sure

Anyone else feel like this or is it just me going mad?!

I felt like that for weeks ...I think I did a whole 24 tests last time! Congratulations

Ahhhh Tiny I know someone that did 12 tests "to make sure" and if it ever happens to me, I'm sure I'd do the same!

i agree it doesnt feel real till you have that scan photo and he or she is kicking you and keeping you up at night then it fees VERY real

i am just like you tiny.
I have done 6 pregnancy tests (2 digitals) and i am still running to the toilet to check.
I found out about 2 weeks ago. Complete shocker to me so i think thats why im still in shock.
I am waiting to see a midwife but i still won't believe it until i see it at my scan.
From what ive heard though its pretty normal to be like this.

Ah Katie good to hear we're in the same boat. I took another test this morning just to check lol. You win with doing 6 tests though!!

Im waiting for a midwife to phone me too. Its gonna feel so real when we have our scans and we actually see a little baby! I nearly cried when I saw the cow and gate advert with all the babies laughing cos it suddenly occured to me that Im gonna have one of them!!

I have done 6 too - digital one new to me and I wanted to see the conception indicator move!! still can't beieve it don't want to take my hands off my tum!!!

Last time I was taking tests until 15 weeks then started using the doppler

I can't wait for my first scan; it seems to be a lifetime away. I had a dating scan last time at 7 weeks but that was in Australia, not sure if they do them that early in this country?

According to my big pack of info the first scan is...(fumbling through reems of paper)...10 to 14 weeks.

but that is is NHS wales which runs a lot of procedures separately from NHS in England. We dont even have the same logo! I hope I don't have to wait til 14 weeks. That would take me to...February(?!) that can't be right...no just checked again it is. I REALLY hope I don't have to wait that long!

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Im so excited! I did ANOTHER test this morning just to check! Keep pinching myself that it happened this quickly again, I feel so lucky - I think I will bawl when I see that first scan!

I'm in cardiff at the mo but we will be moving into our new house in rhondda cynon taff half way through the pregnancy...maybe see you in antenatal classes?!
