I have a real bad urge to go out and buy a little something for bubs!

Everywhere i go i end up looking at baby stuff i cant help myself,
I feel as if i bought a little something it would seem more real if you know what i mean?

AnYbody else feel like this? :)

Not been too bad actually but one thing I'm dying to do is look at prams!

yeh i just bought a little jacket. and sum teeney weeney shoes. i keep the shoes next to my scan pic in a frame, on my bedside table :) seen them wen i wake up and go asleep

your only due 3 days before me yodabo! I really want to look at prams aswell,

I might just buy a little sleepsuit or something because if the worst was to happen it wouldn't be that big of deal xx

Just noticed! Don't think I got a date twin yet but your the closest one, so exciting!

I cant see there being any harm in buying a little something, I still got loads of stuff in the attic from my youngest so might just go and have a nosy in the morning.

This is my first so it's all new to me and so exciting! have you told anyone yet? x

I'm absolutely dying to buy something but because of missed mc previously I won't let myself. I know how hard it was afterwards to face my pregnancy notes let alone anything else! Everything got dumped, magazines, baby name books, notes etc. It's so hard not too though!

Aww sorry to hear about that hun xx

No not told anyone yet, decided to wait till our scan, tis hard though! This will be my 4th pregnancy. Had my oldest at 18 , then met my husband at 23 and he told me there's a risk ofus not having any babies as he had a low sperm count...low and behold fell pregnant 2 years after being with him but miscarried at 7 weeks, absolutely devastated! Decided to wait till I have a period and try again, fell pregnant straight away and had my 2nd son. And now after nearly 7 yes and 1 accidental but very gratefully time fell pregnant! Hubby said he's gonna sue the doctors lmao

Have you told anyone yet?
Ps...sorry for the essay!

Don't worry about the essay hun it was nice to read! I'm 19 as soon as i found out i rang my mum and told her i thought id get id over with sooner rather than later!
To my suprise she wasn't at all angry and is sooo excited about being a nanny, it'll be her first grandchild.
Other than that we haven't told anyone else.
My Oh thinks i should tell my dad soon but we don't get on great and im totally DREADING telling him!!

P.S sorry for the essay back :)

Good luck when you tell your Dad, theres never the perfect time to tell a Dad, years ago with my first, (and I was older 24!) I told my dad when he was watching the grand prix, with his precious bacon sandwiches, and he stormed out telling me I had put him off his lunch! He didn't speak to me again untill I was about 8 weeks to my due date, at a family function, where he sideled up and said how proud he was of me really!

I'm on my fourth child now, and dead old, and yet because of that I don't care what he thinks, My Mum can tell him when she is ready! He will be there when it is born!

So think of that as the worst case, and what have you got to loose, get it over with, he will love it now, or have time to get his male head round it!

my mum and dad split up when i was 2!
My mum has said if i really cant face him she will tell him for me but i really want to be the one to tell him then if he's funny with me i'll tell him to like it or lump it! I feel as if i dont tell him soon i'll let it stop me enjoying being pregnant as i'll still dread telling him,
I know he is going to be very unhappy with me as he wanted me to have a carer blah blah  xx

I reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy want to start buying little bits hear an there like baby wipes cotton buds etc.. an a plastic box kinda thing to put them all in cos aint got basket kinda thing lol.

I wana look at clothessss to but waiting to hear on what im having before when i go looking about for baby clothes.

Havent done any of that yet as the only thign that has stopped me is not knowing the sex of the baby and needing the help to carry it all home lol.

(Also with mc i chucked half the free stuff what was given to me aswell with first preg before mc an wen i mc i slung everything that look baby ish to me. so no how ya feel Helen hun x

When I first found out I did A LOT of research into what I needed and have decided on most of the things I want to buy but I haven't actually bought anything. Part of this though is living in Norway where things are more expensive, so want to buy as much as I can in one big swoop when I'm back in the UK in July, so need to be super organised! I'm not so bothered about it now but maybe that's because I've already sorted it in my mind :D

The hard thing I've found about telling people is trying to do it over the phone, I've actually stopped trying with my Mum for the time being, as it wasn't happening! I've told my best friend and my sister (and obviously my SO knows) but I saw them and was able to tell them face to face. The only issue with waiting until I see them is, for example, that I won't see my Mum until the end of May (so at 5 months). I think that she may view that as being a little cruel, you know, keeping it secret. [Plus also I will see my Dad at the beginning of April and I don't think she'd be happy about him being told first.....] :???:

if i was you you could start picking up small things like the odd sleepsuit or vest pack... maybe the stuff you need for your hospital bag?? :D xx

thats a good idea Lisa,

I went to superdrug on a rare day off work last week and no kids in tow

I saw they had little travel sized bottles of my shampo etc and lip balm and mini toothpaste and even a tiny baby wash , so I got most of the wash bag bits, and it felt more real then, lovely feeling.

I won't buy the babygrows till later just incase.
