i need to vent some anger

im sooooo annoyed.
my FIL asked me yesterday if i could drop him at the airport tomorrow at 11am if his friend was unable to take him. i said yes and he told me he would let me know for definate today.
well i hadnt heard anything all day, so kind of assumed his friend would take him, but got my OH to ring him to clarify. He told me OH that he wouldnt know whether he would need a lift from me until 9am tomorrow morning as his friend can take him if the weather is crap, but if it is nice then he would want a lift from me. My OH said ok and said would speak to him tomorrow morning. Im really pissed off he couldnt give me a straight answer tonight as i have an 8 week old baby who is having her vaccinations tomorrow afternoon and then i am travelling to bristol on my own tomorrow night with LO. It takes me anywhere between an hour and a half to two hours to get ready with LO in the morning as i have bath and need to bath and change LO aswell as feed her, which can be quite unpredicatable sometimes as she feeds as and when she wants to. Also i need to sort my car out as buggy etc in car and need to move car seat into front.
I asked me OH if he could tell him that i need to know either way tonight as i have a really busy day tomorrow and dont want to stress LO out as she has her jabs tomorrow and i am stressing about that bad enough,
He said he would ring him at 8.30am tomorrow to find out.......am i wrong to be really pissed off? Am i being unreasonable?

If his friend can take him if the weather is crap then surely he can take him if the weather is nice???
Just say you have too much on tomorrow and can't do it.

Im guessing his mate can or cant do it depending on the weather because of his job, if hes like a builder then they cant work in the rain and so he would be able to take him to the airport.

Personally i think you have enough on your plate tomorrow and agree with sweetcheeks on this one... tell him you cant do it now as your plans have changed and you have to "be somwhere" with the little one.

I would be mad and not take him... its not fair thinking you can drop everything immediately at his convenience!

Sounds like a "man thing". They have absolutely no idea how difficult it is to get organised with a lil one. tell him you need to know in advance, no negotiation. Sounds like it makes more sense to just accept your kind offer and tell his friend he sorted, as you are not "weather sensitive". If he is showing a preference to his friend taking him, then just leave him to it, and tell him you cant do it.
