Whilst cleaning the conservatory the biggest spider I have ever seen in my life appeared on one of the cushions on the settee.

Yep, I screamed like a girl and jumped up and down like a mad woman God knows what my neighbour thought who was in his drive at the time cleaning his car

*shudder* I hate spiders too.....we get big 'uns here, I refused to go to the toilet last night till OH destroyed the one in bathroom! (im not a woose 8) )

I have that beat

I walked round the corner today in our garden to let the chickens out. And there right by my feet the hugest rat you ever saw

Needless to say it was dying as we put down rat poison last week so off I went to get the shovel and dispatched it.

That's the 5th one I've had to whack now Still I know more of them are eating the poison as I see them around in daylight now moving very slowly. Just a case of being able to grab the shovel quick enough to thump them before they go hide again.

I was returning jeans to a shop today as they didn't fit. I big spider scuttered out of the bag they were in onto the counter and the assistant panicked I took it out of the shop for her. I felt really bad I came home and told OH and he asked if it was the big spider because he hadn't seem it for a few days
