That the last two nights harry has only woken up twice throughout the night he got fed at 10 before he went to bed the he woke for a feed at 12 and then has slept straight through till 6 I did feed him lying on my side because my back was killing, think this has anything to do with it?

I class as anything before 5am the night so in my eyes that's once! Yay!!
I always feed Tyler laying down at night. He was only getting up twice then he had his jabs which really screwed him and after getting close to how he was he got a cold! Only in the last week he's gone down to 3 again!

I thought newborns couldn't go longer than 4 hrs between feeds? That's what mw and hv told me

My lo wakes every two hours day and night, o can't wait for a straight 6 hrs I think I'll throw a party lol x x

I was told 4hrs between feeds but to let them go as long as they like at night if they're feeding well.

I feed on my side and generally only wake once in the night then he goes down well touch wood!

Agree. Even in the daytime I've been told never wake a sleeping baby. Unless your baby in jaundiced they'll generally wake up!

I was told 5hrs in day, 6 at night, but that was when she was brand new, dunno how long that holds for. Xxx
