I Have A Small Problem

Ladies help im getting married in june and typical ive already bought my outfit about a month or so ago now the trouble is its a seperate bodice and skirt and ive thought there's going to be a BIG chance il not fitt into it by then i cant return it as you had to within 28 days and thats already passed (from bhs collection) what shall i do now ive no idea i cant spend a fortune as we dont have the money too + BHS have some nice quality wedding pieces at a good price oh why did this happen (no its not a bad thing im PG) im just in a muddle as what to do now

How about getting it altered nearer the time by someone. If you find someone now they could tell you if it's possible to let it out if you need it.

I suppose the main problem is you're not going to know how big you'll be by then so no matter what outfit you buy you can't guarantee it will fit in June. Also you'll only need it bigger in the belly area and the next size up will be bigger all over.

I have found BHS to be quite good about returning things... especially if you explain the situation. As long as you can get something else from them they will normally exchange for you, they just won't give you your money back....

Hi, how long over the 28 days is it? I regularly take kids stuff back to stores when they didnt fit after 6 weeks.....terrible memory! If they still stock the same item i'm sure they would be sympathetic under the circumstances and change for a bigger size.....give them a ring and see......or just return it first and hope they dont look at the date on the receipt?

I have the same problem, my wedding is in June and my dress cost almost £800 quid, I bought it about 18 months ago and is so gorgeous. I was stressing that it wouldnt fit because its like a corset on top and is boned, I was convinced that I would have to buy a new dress, I was even looking at maternity wedding dresses, but when I went into the shop to explain they were brilliant, they are confident that they will be able to alter my dress, I have to go in a month before so they can see what they can do.

Its a nice problem to have tho isnt it

im sure if you explain to them, i don't see why they won't return it for a) a bigger size or b) vouchers to buy a different dress.
