So we were there at 9.15 am, bladder half full because I couldnt keep the water in due to nervousness. At 9.30 on the dot came my turn - when we saw the scan oh my god!!! Such a beautiful sight.....the baby would not sit back. He/She was jumping around like it was on a trampoline, bounce up, down, side, lie down, wave, suck thumb, kick feet, left lie down to revolve and right lie down- we were in fits of laughter including the lovely technician. She said we have a real live wire here - she kept saying baby sit, we need photos here!! lol

I have been put forward 3 days which according to me was the right date from the start. I am now due on 3rd September and am 12 weeks 2 days - so Mildly - we are ditto due on the same date!!!! WOW...

Next scan is in 7 weeks - I will be 19 weeks then. This was the best experience ever and I am thankful to everyone, god, family including all you guys on this lovely forum to get me this far..otherwise I am usually a ball of worry furrball.....

Glad you managed to get one in the end :rotfl:

Hi Neev,

Congratulations, I am sneaking over from 2nd Tri and noticed you got scanned at the same hospital as me. Scarily enough I had my 19 week scan at 10.30 this morning so we just missed each other.

Thought it was a scary coincidence so I would post ha ha,

Congrats again

Glad everything went well for you. Lovely pics :cheer:

Congratulations Neev - brilliant news!!

There seem to be a lot of Warrington people on here. I am down there a lot (including tomoz) as my stepdad lives there...

Awww congrats Neev, we are due date buddies :cheer: So glad everything went well, your bubba sounds great. I love all the moving descriptions, I bet you feel him/her really early :D

Great pics of your LO too :) Can't wait to see who pops first now (but obviously not for a few months yet ;) ) :D

First Baby White - Isnt that amazing? My scan pic shows an hour ahead - they must not have sorted out the clock for time change. I was actually scoffing my face with the nice breakfast in the cafetaria at about half 10 on Friday!! I hope your scan went well too... I wonder if we did see each other!

Mildly - yay due date buddies sounds good! Did you go to the shops? DH took me away for the weekend, so no shopping but that is on the agenda soon. Window shopping for me right now though..

Debecca yes, there does seem to many who are warrinton based. The worry for me is that the hospital is about 30 minutes from me on a good day with little traffic and happy green traffic lights. If it is during the day then can take us about 45 minutes to get there because we live near Frodsham. Anyhow - I just hope I go into labour either early morning or later in the evening.

Thanks everyone - it sure is a relief and I thought I would relax more now but for some reason nerves are still there - so I think I am going to be a worry wart until the due date arrives.

Maybe we did, its such a small world lol!!! Did you have a really nice scanner lasy with dark hair?? We did and she was great but the time before we had a moody older lasy who didnt seem interested.
If you did see me i was with my hubby and have blonde shoulder length hair and Black coat ha ha, that decriobes so may people ha ha.

I wouldnt worry to much about th journey there, hopefully baby wont be coming that quick that you cant get to the hospital!!! Wouldnt want you giving birth on the daresbury expressway on the way from frodsham :).

Luckily we have just moved to a new house literally 5 mins away so I can walk if hubby isnt about ha ha, is Chester not closer to you???

I had a Blue check coat, will put my pic up soon when I enter second tri, I just got to get round to it. 4 weeks ago we got a lady who was very sweet, young and this time again we got a very young girl, she is called Zoe. I did see the moody mature lady. She was rather grumpy and short. I did look at hubby and frown...So i think I know which one she was.

Lol the daresbury expressway...and all the roadwork going on right now...oh my my. Chester is similar distance too...but I have actually got more comfort with Warrington because it is much much bigger and my heart pointed me that way. We did a drive to chester hospital and straight down M56 into chester takes us about 35 minutes. Rush hour it took us 45 mins, so kinda mid for both but Warrington seems to have more buildings lol. Oh you're lucky being so close, my sister went into labour on the way to hospital with her second one and from her contractions to labour she was 20 minutes into delivery, luckily the hospital for them was 20 minutes away...my mum was the same- I gave her no time to get to hospital, so I have been adviced I will probably be very very quick in delivering.

Lets see - that is a long way away but I know all my bags will be kept in the car for 2 weeks prior to due date.
