i hate doctors!!!!

just been to the doctors with jack about him only turning his head to the right and that im worried about his neck,and he had a quick look at jack then said "so whats the problem?" as if to say u silly first time mum, dont waste my time!
jack was a csection because he was breech and they had to use forceps because after A LOT of tugging and yanking his legs they couldnt get his head out of my rib cage cos he was wedged in. im starting to get worried that they did some serious damage to his neck byt the stupid doctor just wouldnt listen to me!! grrrr im so angry and worried!!!!!

sorry hun, some Drs are pants aren't they? Even my nice one said to me "so what do you want me to do about it?" when I took Mel along with his flat head so I said "I'd like a referral please" and she did, she said she didn't deal with that kind of thing very often anyway. The specialist didn't make me feel stupid at all, even though by the time we saw him his head was much better. He gave Mel a full exam and xray just in case. Have you spoken to your HV? If so and they think you should get a medical opinion I'd be inclined to get an appointment with another Dr and explain that your HV suggested you go and that you'd like to see a paediatrician if possible

Kelly I totally sympathise with you, I have had the same patronising tone when I was convinced there was something wrong with Leorah and guess what i was right! Go with your instincts and insist on seeing a specialist. You are with your baby everyday so you know if something isn't right.

I'm sorry you have had to go through this. I hope you get seen by a 'proffessional' soon

thanks for your replies. i saw my hv yesturday and she told me to see a doc which is why i went today and i did tell him this! theres two female doc at my surgery which are very nice and i dont think they would make me feel so paranoid so im gonna fone up to get an appointment with one of them. will let you no what happpens..
