have done all weekend but its getting worse by the day. i feel extremely tired, sat didnt get up until nearly 2pm after going to bed about 9.30-10pm  - sat went to bed at 12am and didnt get up until 11.30am and was soooo grouchy and tired yesterday i was asleep again by 9.30pm!!!

also feeling extremely sick all the time, especially in the mornings, this morning was worse yet i couldnt even manage to eat a slice of toast, just the thought of it was making me heave! i havent actually thrown up but soo many times i feel like i am going to, do you think i ever will actually be sick, i think i would feel better if i was sick rather than feeling this way!!!!

I can't tell you how many hours I've spent with my head down the loo just heaving and wretching but not actually being sick. I'm like you and just wish that I was actually being sick. I have only been sick once so far but I feel constantly nauseous all the time.

I'm just hoping it stays that way and that I don't get sick anymore

hiya

I remember week 7/8 being the toughest weeks as I was literally a walking zombie! Food will not be a high priority on your list but don't feel bad, make sure you are taking your folic acid. Around these weeks i think i was so lethargic because I wasnt eating much, i know peeps might say u have to force urself but i literally couldnt it was so hard.

I found milk SUCH a god send as when I couldn't eat I just drink mounds of it and gave me somewhat energy I needed...

You need to concentrate on foods you think you may be able to stomach, WHATEVER it is just try it even if its stuff like innocent smoothies fruit, cereal whatever. make sure u keep urself topped up with water, juices and tea or even hot chocolate if u can stomach it...

Also what about custard, semolina, soups etc ok not the most fun of things but they have some good quals to them.

You'll be fine come 10 weeks it does get a bit easier with the tireness not being as bad but we're all here to support one another

P.s if you need to sleep DO IT don't worry about how much, sod everything else for now, leave the housework, and just chill hon.

you poor loves i feel for you both! I was like this and then the voming came at about week 8 or something like that, i dont know if this helps but when u heave tilt your head up and then down sometimes it can help amd the sick will come, yes being sick does make u feel alot better...

Also with nausea literally DROWN yourself in litres of water it really does hhelp erradictae those awful headaches if you have them. With all the milk and water ive been drinking my baby must have smooth clear skin when it arrives :rotfl:

Drink plenty of water - hopefully this will help. Definately keep your fluids up. Hope you feel better soon x x

awww it sucks   it was around that point with my son that i felt really awful but hopefully it will soon pass for you  have you tried flattened diet coke ? i find it really helped last time and with this pregnancy with feeling nauseaous - just tiny little sips.. hope you feel better soon lovely xxx

I had 24/7 nausea for 7 weeks in first tri and never threw up once. Everything I did I felt like I was about to be sick. Be it standing up, turning over in bed, walking... even sitting on the sofa I would urge and sprint for the loo. It was total hell but I got through it. I'd rather have thrown up and had the feeling pass for a bit but it never happened. In the end I accepted I wasn't going to be sick so just got on with things and stopped running to the loo. I took to carrying some paper/plastic bags with me when out just in case, rather than keep running for a bin or loo or some such but never used one.

I found nibbling every hour food wise helped a bit. As did drinking only water and nothing else.

With regards to the tiredness, again it happens. It hits many women really hard and makes normal day to day functioning difficult, but again it will pass eventually. Once the placenta is in place and doing its job and your body can then have a rest and get back to feeling a bit more normal.

i had really really bad m/s lasted up until about month 7!!! (not to scare you or anything!!) BUT on the plus side my m/w told me they like m/s as it is a sign of a healthy pregnancy (although i know people who have had no m/s).

You'll take comfort anywhere when you have beep throwing up all day! I found sucking on sugar free lollies helped...

Poor you, try and eat little and often and get some fluids down you as others have said. Ginger biccies were a godsend in my pregnancy. This time it seems to be cream crackers.

Plus get lots of early nights!!!

It will soon pass, you'll feel like a new woman in a few weeks time.

It will pass Leanne around 12-16 weeks just take it easy and drink plenty of water and rest!
