it tells people iv added them as friends or not; iv just been adding but i havent finished as i rele need to clean the floors while cats away at vets and melissas in bed- so if iv not added you yet- i will do ina bit! i do love you!
or i could just be a lazy bones and ask people to add me instead (or would i still need to add them myself anyway too?) lol

I dont think it tells you - think it is just so you know if your friends are online or not.... although I could be wrong!

No it doesn't tell you if you have any friends LOL

It just gives you a list on names ion your profile, tells you when they are online, and makes it easier to pm them by clicking the names.

I think in some templates (not this one) the names show up a different colour in the memberlist too.
