I burned my bump!

I was ironing this morning and suddenly had a searing pain across my bump - I had brought the iron towards myself and forgot how close my bump was..the shirt I was wearing had a button missing right at the widest point on my bump and 'ssssssttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt' there is was, a red line across my bump - Im surprised that I didnt cauterize a graet big vein that was directly underneath..ouch!!! Its really sore!

Omg that sounds so painful I managed to tip a pan of boiling water over my bump when I was having k!

im surprised it didn5t send you in labour lol hope your ok sounds really sore i last burntmy self on the steam from a kettle and that was on my wrist had to have a few stitchs went quite deep xx

Im ok it just stings, have got some good old lavender oil on it! Typical of me really, in a world of my own, forgot how sticky out my bump is.

I'm constantly burning my arms on my iron! I've got some right nasty scars from it! Atleast forgetting you've got a bump is kinda understandable - it's pretty stupid to forget you've got arms

My Mum tells me that when I was little I was messing about near the iron and she did the whole "Be careful, don't touch it as it's very hot" - So what did I do...?!

I tend to get my wrists on the shelves in the oven when getting food out - I need full arm oven gloves I tell ya!

RM! Try to iron the clothes on the iron board next time, instead of the ones your wearing at the time!
