I Am Very Pleased With Myself - Slap on the Back Time!

It's not often that I pat myself on the back for something (well I did when Dan was born ) but I am really chuffed at what I have almost done! I have to share...

OH holds a Vampire - The Masquerade LARP (Live Action Roleplay) once a month at a pub and due to him wanting to put more word out to hopefully gain more players I have been busy doing the following.

I asked a friend in Forbidden Planet if they would keep flyers in store and maybe a poster, her boss agreed and is giving all players who show a membership card a 10% discount. I have also asked two more shops (another independent comic shop and an alternative clothing shop) if they would keep flyers in store and they too have both agreed which is fab! Hopefully a couple of more places may be approached in due course.

The bit that I am really really slapping myself on the back for though is the new website I am (almost finished) creating for it. I really wasn't sure if I would be able to do it, but I have and through building it I have also learnt lots! I really am very pleased with myself!

Squiglet...I remember that you once mentioned Roleplay a while back, but I didn't realise that it was The Masquerade! There is a pic of me with long pigtails (taken a few months before I became pregnant) I was 'playing' a character of the same name based on a real life medium called Kate Fox of the Fox sisters. She was of the Toreador Clan.

DH used to be part of the Camarilla before he met me. He used to travel around the country playing Vampire the masquerade.

I've never LARPED myself but I used to do table top role playing. I was part of Leeds Uni's roleplaying society (for some weird reason it's now called the sci-fi and fantasy society).

Actually DH used to be director of a roleplaying publishing company, but he resigned a while ago.
